Meet Crissy Johnson

Picture

This is Crissy Johnson. She will be the inaugural Bowl160 tournament beneficiary. Crissy was a bowler for many years at Country Lanes in Spencer from 2006-2015. She is a close friend of the Wagoner family. Crissy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is facing cancer treatment. This means that she will have extensive travel. Crissy lives in Calhoun County and has a long history in her community of helping others when they have been in need. She is married to Rob Johnson. They have two children, one granddaughter Ryla, and two grandsons named Mason and Barrett. Crissy or "mi-mi" as she is called by the littles, is a wonderful soul. She's funny! She hasn't bowled in years, but we think she'd do ok in this tournament.

Now it's time for friends and family, and the bowling community to consider helping her. Bowl160 is a great place to start. Proceeds from the Bowl160 tournament in May 2024 will go to Crissy to help her with travel, medical needs, or any other need that she may have during this difficult time. If her health allows, we hope Crissy will be able to join us at Pike Street Lanes in May. Your entry fee of $65 will not only put you in a great tournament for a chance to win up to $1,000, but a portion of your entry fee goes to her. All of the proceeds from raffles, optional skill competitions, etc., will be given to her. Let's fill this tournament roster. Let's have a great time. Let's pray for Crissy as she fights cancer. Join her in the fight, by taking part in this event. We only have room for 60 bowlers. Will you be one? We hope to see you at Pike Street Lanes. Even if you pass on the tournament, let's pray for her during this battle.
