TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION FOR MAY 18 IS NOW CLOSED

Do you meet these requirements?

Take a moment and review the following requirements to participate in the Bowl160 Tournament.
Are you currently sanctioned by USBC as a league bowler? Do you have a verifiable average on Bowl.com from the last season 2022-2023 that is 169 or less? Are you will to pay a $65 entry fee for a chance to win up to $1,000? If 60 people enter, we will give away $1,000 first prize and a beautiful plaque.

Here are the things you need to know about Bowl160:

1. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to bowl in this tournament. Entry fee is $65. Payment MUST be made in advance. We cannot hold spots due to the capacity of the tournament.  You can mail your entry, drop it off at Pike Street Lanes, or use PayPal on this website. Keep in mind, there are no onsite entries permitted. Again, YOU MUST PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE WHEN YOU REGISTER. WE CANNOT HOLD SPOTS. There are no bowler substitutions. There are no refunds. If cancellations are made after entry fee is paid, it will be considered a donation to the tournament since it is a fund raiser. You can send entry by PayPal direct to [email protected] or complete your registration and pay online. But you do have to pay the $3 PayPal processing fee. You can do that here.

2. First Prize is $1,000 if at least 50 bowlers participate in the event. Maximum number of bowlers in this tournament is capped at 60. Minimum number of bowlers required for the tournament to be held is 20. If 20 bowlers participate, the first prize will still be an amazing $500. You can review the full prize chart here. This chart highlights the entry fee and then breaks down and the number of places being paid based on the number of entries in the tournament. A growing list of all bowlers signed up for the tournament will be updated on the roster page as the tournament approaches. Once all 60 spots are filled, the tournament registration will be closed. Any entries received after registration closes will be returned.  In the event the tournament is canceled due to less than 20 bowlers registering, all registration fees paid will be refunded promptly.  There are no cancelations otherwise and no substitutions per the rule.  All registration fees are considered a donation if the tournament is held.  Prize money places will paid to the winner(s) on the day of the event.  All awards will be given on that day as well.

3. All bowlers must have a current USBC card and be showing as active (Green online). Bowlers can verify they are active on USBC's website called www.bowl.com Enter your name and do a search to check your average for the previous season/year. Bowl160 will be using the averages shown for last year - 2022-2023. If you do not have an average showing online for last season, then you didn't bowl last year in a sanctioned league, and you would be ineligible to participate in this tournament. The 2023 average showing must not exceed 169. The bowler's handicap will be based on 90% of 220 using that average. Maximum score is 300. You can calculate your handicap for this tournament by knowing your average and then entering it here on the online handicap calculator. Yes, we know you may be bowling better in this year's league. However, for consistency, we are only using the 2023 averages on USBC for this event.
